So today I finally went back to work after being off for a week due to still being sick and not being able to breathe. That is the worst part...not being able to take a deep breath. I went to the doctor last Wednesday and they gave me meds that didn't work and then I went to the ER Saturday because I wasn't feeling any better. And that doctor just wanted to send me home with an inhaler, because after giving me an EKG and a CT scan, etc, he said it was just viral. I did get him to give me prednisone, which also didn't help. So.
But on the bright non-breathing side, it really keeps the hunger at bay and you don't feel like eating at all. Not that I haven't eaten some, but it is actually pretty difficult to eat because you feel really full already when you can't breathe.
I weighed in yesterday and was happy with the results, and down to a goal I had been looking for. Of course now the hard part is not to blow it since I am starting to feel better and getting an appetite back. I need to get myself back on course, make up a menu, buy the proper food, and stick with it. Oh, and get on that dang treadmill.
A Not-Being-Able-To-Breathe diet isn't something I would recommend for sure and I hope not to repeat it. I kinda like breathing.
